Jamaica Flour Mills announces price increase on flour products
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Flour Mills Limited (JFM) says there will be an increase in the price of flour and select bakery mixes sold by the company effective Monday, May 18, 2026.
The company, in a statement on Thursday, said this adjustment follows a sustained period during which it made every effort to absorb rising costs across raw materials, packaging, freight and other manufacturing related expenses.
“Despite these efforts, continued increases driven by global market conditions have made it necessary to implement this change,” JFM added.
The company said it continues to actively monitor the global cost environment and noted that should there be any material easing of the external factors, it will review its pricing accordingly.
It said in the interim it remains focused on optimising efficiencies across its supply chain and operations.
