Today’s Horoscope – May 09

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Saturday, May 9, 2026.Enjoying light and friendly conversation with lighthearted people will be one of the best ways to spend the day. The vibe is best for intimate gatherings, relaxing getaways, and leisurely activities. Instead of large crowds and loud noise, which might be more overstimulating than entertaining, the current cosmic weather calls for simplicity and ease. The day also calls for flexibility, just in case a problem arises or last-minute plans come up. Any moodiness we’re feeling can be alleviated with lots of laughs, good food, or creative hobbies.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19)

Being open to suggestions and new experiences will enable you to have more fun with your friends.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20)

You don’t have anything to prove to anyone. You are more than enough.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20)

Getting out into the fresh air or a change of scenery can help you get out of your head.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22)

Don’t force yourself to be sociable or keep up with everyone else. Today is meant for enjoying time alone or with a close and trusted person in your life.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22)

Instead of you always being the person running the show, why not step aside and let someone else take over? There are people more than willing to help.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22)

Before you start busying yourself with your next project, goal, or task, take a moment to appreciate yourself and all that you’ve already done.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22)

It can be easy to get stuck in old habits. Break free by inviting some spontaneity and wonder into your life. Try something you’ve never done before.

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21)

Be selective about the company you keep today. Spend time with folks who lift you up, not drag you down.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 to Dec 21)

Take a break from your busy schedule and make time for someone you love.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19)

Showing others kindness or generosity can boost your mood and your confidence.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18)

Embrace playfulness. It will help you to find joy when you need it most.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20)

Take some time to unplug. Reduce your screen time, put your phone on Do Not Disturb, and touch some grass.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You’re high-achieving and hardworking. You’ll push yourself to the limit if necessary to get a job done. With decision-making, you take a cautious and responsible approach. You would rather be prepared for anything than leave anything up to chance. You prefer routine over the unexpected. You’re certainly not a go-with-the-flow type. However, embracing flexibility or change every now and again can keep you from becoming too rigid. This year, there may be adjustments to make in your career or your approach to leadership. What needs to change?

Birthdate of: Billy Joel, singer-musician; Shaboozey, singer-rapper; Rosario Dawson, actress-producer.
