Effect of Aidonia’s electrifying Live Wire performance lingers
Dancehall powerhouse Aidonia recently delivered a commanding performance at Usain Bolt’s Tracks & Records at Marketplace, St Andrew, as the headline act for the highly anticipated Appleton Estate Live Wire event.
The energy inside the venue was electric as fans packed the iconic entertainment hot spot for an immersive night of premium music, vibrant culture, and exceptional performances.
Starting his performance just before midnight, Aidonia, well-known for his lyrical precision and stage presence, thrilled patrons with an explosive set packed with fan favourites, chart-topping hits, and high-energy delivery that kept the audience engaged from the start.
After delivering hits such as Bad People, Empty, Trigger Work It, Run Road, Anyweh at All, and Fi Di Jockey, backed by the dynamic Ruff Kutt Krew, Aidonia removed his lemon-coloured jacket as his mentee Govana made a surprise appearance to perform their hit single
Breeze.
Govana also energised the audience with his track Mawning Sir before exiting the stage.
Earlier, rising star Amanyea set the tone with an energetic performance, delivering a mix of original tracks including Friends + Tax, Still Go Dance, La La, and Bad Gyal Szn. She also kept the crowd engaged with covers of songs by Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Tanya Stephens, and Dexta Daps.

Building on the success of this staging, Appleton Estate Live Wire will now expand islandwide, with its next stop set for Plantation Smokehouse in St Ann on August 5.
