41 injured in toll road crash, police say

CLARENDON, Jamaica — At least 41 people were injured when a coaster bus collided with a concrete median on Wednesday morning, police have confirmed to Observer Online.

Cops indicated that the incident occurred at 7:57 am at the stoplight at the May Pen entrance to the Williamsfield Toll Road.

Photos and videos of the incident have circulated on social media, showing the yellow vehicle crushed against the concrete structure.

The authorities could not confirm whether another vehicle was involved in the incident.
