Fyahstige pushes powerful message with ‘Fickleness’ on ‘Kiss Of Judas Riddim’
Reggae artiste Fyahstige is generating strong attention with his thought-provoking single Fickleness, featured on the popular Kiss Of Judas Riddim project produced by Kemar “Flava” McGregor.
The conscious reggae track tackles betrayal, fake friendships and disloyalty — themes the artiste says were inspired by personal experiences and the realities of life.
“The song is about people who switch up on you when life changes. Too much fickleness is going on in the world, and I wanted to speak on it through music,” Fyahstige explained.
The single has become one of the standout tracks from the Kiss Of Judas Riddim compilation, earning praise for its relatable message, authentic delivery and strong songwriting. Fyahstige’s music is also receiving rotation from several top DJs and selectors worldwide, including popular selector Pink Panta.
Fyahstige, formerly known as Prestige, believes the song represents another major step in his musical growth and evolution.
“Music is my way of teaching, uplifting and opening people’s eyes. I always try to make songs people can feel and relate to,” he said.
The artiste also highlighted his strong chemistry with producer Kemar “Flava” McGregor, crediting the producer for helping to bring out some of his best work in the studio.
“Working with Flava McGregor always brings out the best in me. The energy and direction in the studio are always strong,” he shared.
In addition to Fickleness, Fyahstige continues to push other songs from his catalogue, including the uplifting anthem Beautiful Day, featured on his seven-track Good Vibes EP, as well as fan favourites like Friend X Enemy, a song inspired by betrayal and real-life struggles he faced during a difficult period in the United States.
“I’m a man of peace, unity and love. I put that energy in my music. I want people to feel good when they listen,” he said.
Fyahstige’s journey has also been marked by reinvention. After facing confusion online with others using the name Prestige, he adopted the name Fyahstige following encouragement from late reggae legend Cocoa Tea.
“Cocoa Tea told me I have fire in me, so I should use Fyahstige. It was a rebirth for me,” he recalled.
Over the years, Fyahstige has worked with respected producers and labels including Timeless Records, Black Scorpio, Konection Entertainment and Yard Style Records. He has also performed on major stages including Reggae on the River and the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California, along with appearances across Europe.
Currently, the artiste is preparing new collaborations with Luciano, Lukie D and Thriller U while planning a stronger push into the African market.
“I want to uplift people worldwide with positive music and real messages. Africa is definitely part of the mission,” he said.
With Fickleness continuing to gain momentum on the Kiss Of Judas Riddim, Fyahstige remains focused on spreading reggae music rooted in truth, positivity and lived experience.
