Holly Bostock appointed Red Stripe managing director in leadership transition
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Red Stripe has announced a significant leadership transition as Holly Bostock has been appointed as the new managing director effective July 1, 2026 and Managing Director Daaf van Tilburg will assume a regional role within Heineken’s Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Notably, Bostock’s appointment marks a historic milestone for the company, as she becomes the first woman to lead Red Stripe in its century-long history.
The company made the announcement Thursday indicating that the transition signals a new chapter of growth and leadership for Red Stripe as it continues to evolve in a dynamic and competitive market.
Van Tilburg has been appointed managing director APAC, where he will support a portfolio of operating companies across the region on their Growth, Productivity, and Future Fit agendas. The company said his new role reflects his strategic acumen and consistent success in driving transformation and performance across international operations.
Since assuming leadership of Red Stripe in July 2023, van Tilburg has guided the organisation through a period of strong performance and strategic transformation.
Under his stewardship, the company sharpened its commercial strategy, strengthened its core brands, introduced new innovations, and deepened customer partnerships.
He also oversaw the successful turnaround of Celebration Brands Limited (CBL), the company’s sales and distribution joint venture, improving sales execution, increasing service levels, and strengthening customer engagement across the island.
The comnpany says beyond commercial achievements, van Tilburg championed resilience and community engagement, particularly in supporting national recovery efforts following Hurricanes Beryl and Melissa.
Reflecting on his time in Jamaica, van Tilburg said: “Leading Red Stripe has been an incredible privilege. The passion, resilience, and talent of the Jamaican team are truly inspiring. I am proud of what we have achieved together and confident the business will continue to thrive.”
Bostock is currently managing director of Heineken St Lucia and Red Stripe says during her three-year tenure, the business delivered consecutive growth in revenue, gross profit, and operating profit, achieved record cash performance, and implemented a responsible debt and dividend plan to future-fit the organisation and create shareholder value.
She began her Heineken career in 2010 through the International Graduate Programme and has since held senior roles in public affairs, communications, and sustainability at the head office. She later served as corporate affairs director in Heineken Myanmar and Heineken Vietnam, bringing extensive international experience and strategic insight to her new role.
The brand said her selection reflects the company’s commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive leadership and represents a significant step forward for gender representation within Jamaica’s manufacturing and brewing sectors.
Commenting on her appointment, Bostock said: “It is an honour to join Red Stripe, a company deeply rooted in Jamaican heritage and globally respected for its iconic brands. I look forward to working with the talented team to build on its success, drive sustainable growth, and continue contributing to Jamaica’s economic and social development.”
