Jamaican youth football is set to receive an exciting boost with the official launch of the All Star Jamaica U-15 Best of the Best League, a new elite competition designed to spotlight and develop the island’s top young football talent.

Powered by the growing All Star Jamaica brand, the inaugural league will feature eight of Jamaica’s leading academies and youth football programmes competing across five weeks in what organisers describe as a premium platform for the country’s next generation of football stars.

The competition is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, May 31, 2025, with matches to be played weekly, culminating in a championship final day on June 28, 2025. All games will be played at the Constant Spring Football Field. Game times weekly are 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Participating teams include, Norbrook Strikers, Ballaz Academy, Kingston Football Academy (KFA), Total Football Academy (TFA), Kingston United Academy, Waterhouse FC, Dare to Dream Academy and Cavalier FC Academy.

All Star Jamaica U-15 Best of the Best League has been structured to provide a professional football environment through organised operations, live- streaming coverage for select games, social media exposure, qualified match officials, medical support, and player recognition opportunities.

Co-founder of All Star Jamaica, Leighton Davis says the league was created to help elevate youth football standards while building a stronger pathway for talented young players.

“We believe Jamaica has an incredible amount of football talent at the youth level, but many of these players need more consistent platforms to showcase themselves in a competitive and professionally managed environment,” said Davis.

“The vision behind this league is bigger than simply organising matches. We want to create a true football platform that inspires players, engages fans, and helps contribute to the future growth of Jamaican football and help to develop the talent we have locally.”

The league will operate under a strict Under-15 eligibility structure, with organisers confirming that any player who turns 16 during the 2026 calendar year will not be eligible to participate.

The competition will also feature awards for MVP, Golden Boot, Best Goalkeeper and will see a Best XI Selection at the end of the competition.

All Star Jamaica has rapidly become one of the country’s emerging football media and showcase brands through its focus on youth development, football culture, and player exposure.

Organisers believe the Under-15 Best of the Best League has the potential to become one of Jamaica’s premier youth football properties in the years ahead.
