Police identify US resident found dead in Hanover
HANOVER, Jamaica — The police have identified a woman whose body was found in Hanover on Monday as 33-year-old Kadian ‘Kadi’ Bradshaw of Tampa, Florida and Bulls Bay in Hanover.
Bradshaw is believed to be a US resident; meanwhile, her partner, who is believed to be the holder of a United States passport, is currently in police custody for questioning regarding her death.
Her partner, who is allegedly originally from Clarendon, has not been charged.
The couple and a young baby believed to be theirs had been staying in the Bulls Bay area of the parish for approximately a year at the time of the incident. Both are believed to have a Jamaican connection.
According to a police report, around 2:00 am, Bradshaw and her partner had an altercation at the home when she was injured.
It is further understood that people became concerned and called the police after seeing the man, who had left the community and was walking along the main road towards Lucea, with the baby in the predawn hours.
He was held by lawmen with the infant.
