Sean Paul’s still got it!
...reinforces global reach with successful European Timeless Tour
Dancehall icon Sean Paul is celebrating another major milestone in his career following a successful run across Europe.
The Grammy Award-winning entertainer recently wrapped his Timeless Tour, a multi-country trek that drew thousands of fans to arenas, theatres, and festival grounds across the continent.
The tour made stops in Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Germany, and France, among other territories, highlighting the enduring international appeal of both Sean Paul and Jamaican dancehall music.
“Europe has always held a special place in my heart, and the Timeless Tour was another incredible reminder of the connection we’ve built over the years,” Sean Paul said.
“Seeing fans from different countries, cultures, and generations come together and sing every word — from records that started my journey to newer songs like Press Back and Magnificent — is something I’ll never take for granted. The energy throughout the tour was amazing and continues to motivate me to keep creating, performing, and representing dancehall music on the world stage,” he continued.
The tour featured performances in cities including Sofia, Budapest, Vienna, Warsaw, Northeim, Nantes, Bordeaux, Konstanz, and Hannover. Venues ranged from intimate 4,000-capacity theatres to major festival stages attracting between 35,000 and 40,000 patrons per day, underscoring Sean Paul’s ability to command audiences more than two decades after his international breakthrough.
“Sean Paul’s success has never been confined to one era, one market or one generation,” said manager Steve Urchin. “The Timeless Tour showcased the remarkable diversity of his audience, from long-time supporters who have followed his career since the early 2000s to younger fans discovering his music through streaming platforms, social media, and contemporary collaborations.”
The strong reception across Europe comes during a landmark year for the Jamaican superstar. Earlier this year, Sean Paul earned his first Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Diamond certification through his contribution to Sia’s global hit Cheap Thrills, becoming the first Jamaican artiste to receive a Diamond-certified single in the United States.
His dominance in the digital space has also continued. Sean Paul currently ranks among Spotify’s Top 100 Global Artists by monthly listeners, making him the only Jamaican artiste on the list. With more than 62.7 million monthly listeners, he remains one of the most-streamed Caribbean artistes in the world and a leading ambassador for Jamaican music on the international stage.

“To also be ranked among Spotify’s Top Global Artists is truly humbling,” Sean Paul said. “More than 20 years into my career, it’s a blessing to know that the music is still reaching millions of people around the world and connecting with new generations of listeners every day.
“These milestones aren’t just for me; they’re a reflection of the strength of Jamaican music, Caribbean culture, and the fans who have supported me throughout the years. Dancehall continues to break barriers globally, and I’m proud to play a role in carrying the culture forward while continuing to release new music and evolve as an artiste.”
While many veteran artistes rely heavily on nostalgia, the Timeless Tour revealed a different reality with a significant Gen Z audience. The result is a rare multi-generational fan base that continues to fuel both his streaming success and live performances.
For industry observers, the tour’s success reflects the continued growth of Caribbean music worldwide. As dancehall reaches new audiences through digital platforms and international collaborations, Sean Paul remains one of the genre’s most recognisable and influential figures.
More than 20 years after introducing dancehall to mainstream audiences around the globe, Sean Paul continues to prove that great music can transcend language, geography, and time. With a thriving touring business, billions of streams, historic certifications, and an ever-expanding audience, his influence remains as powerful today as at the highest point in his career.
