High school student charged in alleged bathroom robbery and assault
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A 15-year-old student of BB Coke High School has been charged in connection with the alleged assault and robbery of a fellow student in the school bathroom in May.
The teen, whose identity is being withheld due to her age, has been charged with robbery with aggravation and assault occasioning bodily harm.
According to reports, a 13-year-old student was reportedly in the school bathroom when she was approached by the accused and two masked females.
It is alleged that the accused used her hand to hit the complainant in her face three times before stomping on her stomach, resulting in bruising, swelling and pain.
It is further alleged that the accused then held a knife to the complainant’s neck and stole $450 in cash from her pocket.
The incident occurred on May 26, 2026 at about 11:00 am. The accused was later charged.
