Vybz Kartel ranks 3rd for most entries on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart
Vybz Kartel’s God & Time album debuted at #6 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. This is his 12th entry on the chart and tenth time inside the top 10.
Interestingly, Vybz Kartel ranks third for the Jamaican artiste with the most entries on this particular Billboard chart.
So who has the most charted albums? It’s actually a tie between Bob Marley and Shaggy. They both have 17 entries each.
Marley has 12 #1 titles, while Shaggy has six.
Beenie Man is ranked second with 15 entries, six of which have topped the chart.
Sean Paul is in fourth place with 10 charted entries, four of which have peaked at #1.
Vybz Kartel is yet to score a chart-topper. He got close to the summit in 2016 when The King of the Dancehall entered and peaked at #2.
Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers spends 335 non-consecutive weeks in the #1 position, while Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy remains at #2.
The Trinity by Sean Paul is steady at #3, so too is World on Fire by Stick Figure at #4, and Greatest Hits by UB40 at #5.
Wisdom by Stick Figure is firm at #7, Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock dips to #8, Set in Stone by Stick Figure is down to #9, and Exodus by Bob Marley and the Wailers backtracks to #10.
On rhythmic charts, Spin by R&B singer Kevin Ross, which was produced by Jamaican producer Kheilstone, rises from #46 to #36 in its second week on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop Airplay, and bolts from #13 to #10 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Jamaican (Bam Bam) a house/Afrobeat/EDM remix of Sister Nancy’s classic Bam Bam, produced by HUGEL and SOLTO, remains at #13 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, while slipping from #4 to #6 on World Digital Song Sales chart. The song also stays put at #12 on Billboard’s Warm Global Dance Radio chart, while inching up from #107 to #106 on Global 200, and dropping three spots down to #51 on Global Excluding US.
Looking Lovely by Shaggy featuring Robin Thicke falls from #27 to #29 on Rhythmic Airplay, while Echo (FIFA World Cup 2026) by Daddy Yankee and Shenseea climbs from #29 to #28.
Echo continues to make moves on the Billboard Latin charts as it steps up from #29 to #25 in its third week on Latin Airplay.
Pongo by Rvssian, Rauw Alejandro and Wizkid re-enters the chart at #50 after it peaked at #43 a few weeks ago. The song inches up from #13 to #12 in its 11th week on Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.
Now onto regional charts, Forevermore by Jurney Star remains at #1 on the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart, with Shine by Elaine Shepherd holding at #2.
Ten Foot Wall by Tasha T is #3, while Rise Up by Belinda Brady and Set Me Free by Memberz Syndicate are #4 and #5.
Love of a Father by Mel C is new at #10.
Chant by Paris Ivy spends a second week at #1 on the Reggae North Canadian Top 20 Reggae and Dancehall chart, while Cucumba by Tugstar is at #2. Inching up to #3 is Student of a Broken Heart by Exco Levi, while Reggae Music Nice by Legato moves to #4. Slow Down by Jah Mila rises to #5, while Gal Bad Mind by Fyahnese and Steve Kight enters at #20.
Butterflies by Buju Banton spends a second week at the top of the New York Reggae chart, with Wet Sugar by Richie Stephens moving from #18 to #13.
Di Real Rock by Macka B is new at #28, so too is Reggae Party by Admiral Bailey at #29.
Favourite by Hopeton Lindo and Hawkeye opens at #23 on the South Florida Reggae chart, while Police and Thieves by Lloyd Parks steps in at #22.
World Peace by Brigadeer Jerry glides from #17 to #15, and I Shot the Sheriff by Etana is #10.
And finally, The Voice of the Caribbean’s Florida Reggae and Dancehall Top 20 Radio Singles chart reveals that Masicka’s Slip N Slide is spending its third week at #1. Butterflies by Buju Banton is #2 while Woii by Valiant is #3.
Panic by Vybz Kartel and Shenseea climbs two places to #4, while Hills and Valleys by Jigsy King steps up to #5.
God & Time by Vybz Kartel is new at #17.
