Police seek public assistance in locating man accused of fleecing over $2m from company
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Fraud Squad and the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) are seeking the public’s assistance to locate 38-year-old Gary Bennett, who is wanted in connection with a case of larceny and engaging in a transaction involving criminal property.
Bennett’s last known address is Woodford Park, Kingston 4.
Reports are that between October and December of 2024, Bennett was employed as an accountant for a company. It is alleged that during this period he fleeced more than $2 million from the company.
The police said efforts to contact him have proven futile.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Gary Bennett is asked to contact the Fraud Squad and Financial Crimes Investigation Division of the Specialised Investigation Branch at 876-922-2374, Crime Stop at 311 or the nearest police station.
