Two dead, several injured in Trelawny three-vehicle crash

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Two men are dead and seven others are in hospital, one reportedly in critical condition, following a three-vehicle crash in the Braco area of Trelawny on Wednesday night.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 9:00 pm and involved a Toyota Hiace, a Toyota Fielder and a Toyota Voxy.

Reports are that one of the victims died at the scene, while the other was among two individuals who had to be cut from the mangled wreckage. He was later pronounced dead at hospital.

The seven injured individuals were transported to hospital for treatment. One of them is said to be in critical condition.

The Trelawny police are investigating.
