Supernova by Runkus ranks among Billboard’s 50 Best Albums of 2026 (So far)

Billboard magazine rolled out its list of the 50 Best Albums of 2026 (so far), and among those mentioned is the sole Jamaican reggae artiste Runkus.

His latest album, Supernova, was listed among albums by mainstream acts including Drake, Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, Kehlani and Ella Langley.

Released on May 1 via Easy Star Records, Supernova has 13 tracks, including collaborations with Peter Tosh and Sean Paul.

The Billboard listing, which was compiled by the publication’s staff writers, took into account albums that were released in the first half of 2026.

Making the list were Iceman by Drake, The Romantic by Bruno Mars, Arirang by BTS, Dandelion by Ella Langley, Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally by Harry Styles, The Way I Am by Luke Combs and To Whom it May Concern by Jill Scott.
