KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 33rd staging of the Liguanea Lodge Art Auction and Wine and Cheese Party is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 8 Hillcrest Avenue, Kingston 6.

Patrons can enjoy a Wine and Cheese reception beginning at 7:00 pm, followed by the auction at 8:00 pm.

Recognised as Jamaica’s longest-running local art auction, the event was first held on May 1, 1993, in the ballroom at King’s House under the patronage of then Governor General Sir Howard Cooke.

Over the years, the auction has showcased works by some of Jamaica’s most celebrated artists, including Barry Watson, Hilroy Bulgin—whose piece was the first artwork sold at the inaugural auction—Richard Hall, Lennox Coke, Albert Huie, Osmond Watson, Milton George, Ras Dizzy, Susan Shirley, Guy McIntosh, Robert Armstrong, David Pottinger, and Stafford Schiefer.

This year’s event will also feature new artists Romain Lewis and Romaine McNeil.

Tickets are available for $6,000 and can be purchased online at Caribtix.com or at the gate on the day of the event.

Proceeds from the auction will support educational scholarships, including tuition assistance for a student at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts through the Dr Douglas McDonald Scholarship, as well as tuition support for two Kingston College students through the Errol Alberga Sr Scholarship Fund.
