Turkey beat USA 3-2 in final World Cup Group D game

LOS ANGELES, United States(AFP)—Co-hosts United States (US) lost 3-2 to Turkey at the SoFi Stadium on Thursday but still topped World Cup Group D.

Substitute Kaan Ayhan scored the winner for the already-eliminated Turks eight minutes into added time against a much-changed USA team, who move into the last 32.
