Dream Catcher, Salute The Don lead 31 into the St Leger
THE 2026 Jamaica St Leger Classic is locked in for Sunday, July 5 and 31 horses have provisionally entered for the 10-furlong (2,000m) race with $4.5 million on the line.
This is where pretenders fade and champions prove it. All eyes are on the two Guineas winners. Dream Catcher took the 1000 Guineas for the fillies and now she’s chasing Triple Crown history. Salute The Don answered in the 2000 Guineas for the colts and wants to keep his own crown quest alive.
Win Sunday, and either one keeps the dream rolling toward the Derby but this St Leger won’t be handed to them.

We Jammin is the wild card. Last year’s Champion Two-Year-Old missed the 2000 Guineas with injury following his flop in The Kingston, but don’t forget the Prince Consort Stakes. That was class. If Peter-John Parsard has him fit and firing then We Jammin turns this into a three-way war.
Then there’s Stardom — The Kingston winner and 2000 Guineas runner-up to Salute The Don. He was closing hard that day, and 10 furlongs is built for him. Distance is his weapon. Dangerous doesn’t cover it.
The depth is real too: Taylor Made for the grind, Fernando with early speed, Mohanlal who loves a fight, and Bigger Boss — the name says he will not come for second money.
