Skillibeng and Ayetian collaborate on ‘Gih Yuh Some’

International dancehall artiste Skillibeng and newcomer Ayetian have joined forces on their new single, Gih Yuh Some, a collaboration between YGF Productions and Crown Boss Records that producer Tevino Richards says will be a special project.

“The concept of this project is to celebrate dancehall as a powerful expression of Jamaican culture, identity and creativity. Through music, dance, drama, and storytelling, the production explores the genre’s influence on society while showcasing its energy, artistry and cultural significance. Our aim is to entertain,” said Richards.

Crown Boss Records has been enjoying an impressive run musically of late having produced tracks for the likes of Jamal and Rajah Wild. YGF Productions has been building on an impressive catalogue which includes hits with a plethora of artistes including Skillibeng, Valiant, Pablo Yg and Jahvillani.

According to Cleon Roseway of Crown Boss Records, he believes that collaborative efforts are great for the culture and he is very excited about the prospects of this single becoming a mainstream hit.

“I am a firm believer in collaborative efforts in music because when two established artistes merge their resources and fanbase, the industry benefits significantly. Additionally, when the production is done by two established producers as well, not only does the song stand a great chance of success [but] the creative process and the production standards are also raised because it allows for several experienced individuals to add their inputs,” Roseway said.

He added, “Overall I expect this project to be a huge success locally and internationally.”

Currently, all parties are gearing up to launch a massive promotional campaign to raise awareness about the song which is slated to be released on July 10, 2026 on all major digital platforms.
