Tastee celebrates 60 at the Food Awards
Tastee celebrated its 60th anniversary in style at the recent Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards, serving the iconic fare that has cemented the brand’s place in Jamaican culture.
Inside a beautifully designed booth executed by GoRouge, Chef Anthony James delivered a menu designed to tantalise the taste buds. The spread seamlessly blended tradition with innovation, featuring signature cocktail patties alongside beef and shrimp kebabs, coconut-crusted fish, BBQ ribs and stuffed plantain cups filled with sautéed seafood. The savoury feast was complemented by a dessert selection of red velvet cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu, and macarons. Toasting to the milestone, guests were afforded a selection of beverages, including the Blue Mint Lemonade mocktail and two signature cocktails created just for the evening — the Tastee 60th and the Pineapple 60th Express.
