KINGSTON, Jamaica — Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Central Dwayne Vaz has stepped down from his position as Deputy Spokesperson on Roads and Works.

In a brief statement on Saturday, the People’s National Party (PNP) said following discussions with Opposition Leader Mark Golding, Vaz had decided to focus on his constituency responsibilities and would no longer serve as deputy spokesperson.
