Ras Kronik ramps up promotion of ‘Agree to Disagree’ with new video
One of the songs from The Energy, Ras Kronik’s third album, Agree to Disagree sums up the singer-songwriter’s feelings about global turmoil. Recently, he filmed a video to help get its message across.
The visual, filmed in Poland and Las Vegas, was directed by Anna Mellis from Poland.
“The message (behind the song) is for humanity to live in love and oneness, especially in this time where we’re going through the evolution of consciousness,” said Ras Kronik. “With the video released, over time it will help get the message out, because that’s the intention.”
Ras Kronik is based in Las Vegas and is one of the gambling mecca’s most visible reggae artistes. From Clarendon, he has endeared himself to a diverse audience by releasing mainly roots-reggae songs, but has also experimented with EDM and Trap.
For The Energy, Ras Kronik collaborated with Atlanta-based Pandemic Records, an independent company operated by Sheldon Edwards, his brother. Also contributing to its production were The Bonafide Band, a group of Jamaicans who also live in Las Vegas.
The 12-song set also contains message numbers like Working For The Boss, Set me Free and Fyah Burn, which features Turbulence.
The Real Thing Remix, Ras Kronik’s first album, was released in 2013. Wild N Free, his second album, followed three years later.
