Trendzy by Ackeilia

Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) had front-row seats to profile the collections that graced the runway at Lazuli, the National Commercial Bank (NCB)-powered event at Mezza Luna on Saturday, July 4.

Stepping on the catwalk first was fashion designer Ackeilia Caine, principal for Trendzy by Ackeilia, who debuted the Dirty Martini Collection as well as the NCB-collaborated Trendzy In Blue.

Caine describes the Dirty Martini Collection as a “captivating fusion of tropical Caribbean essence and the iconic sophistication of a dirty martini”, making subtle references to the martini glass, woven into necklines, cut-outs, and sculptural shapes. Each garment is treated as wearable art, taking inspiration from the cocktail’s signature palette of olive greens, warm golds, and deep browns.

“The Dirty Martini Collection embodies confidence, sensuality, and refined craftsmanship — inviting the wearer to indulge in the art of resort dressing with a distinctly Caribbean soul,” Caine shared with TSF.

For Trendzy in Blue, Caine showcased her signature layered mesh, intricate cutwork, and hand-crafted fringe details across a series of new silhouettes, which according to Caine, captures the lively energy of Caribbean summer through a striking yellow and blue palette tailored to match NCB’s signature corporate hues.

“I wanted to create a resort-ready aesthetic that embodies effortless luxury and the vibrancy of Caribbean living. The collection was designed for individuals who want to feel confident and refined while on vacation, transitioning seamlessly from the beach to a resort setting,” Caine said.

TSF highlights its top picks.
