Brooky Danger riding wave of success with ‘Joy Within My Soul’

Recording artiste Brooky Danger is celebrating the growing success of his inspirational single Joy Within My Soul, which continues to gain momentum on radio stations in Jamaica while attracting increasing support from international broadcasters and DJs.

The uplifting track has been enjoying strong rotation across several local radio outlets and has also found favour with stations and selectors in key overseas markets, further strengthening Brooky Danger’s profile beyond Jamaica’s shores. His lovers rock single, Feel So Right, has also been receiving solid airplay, giving the artiste two songs currently making an impact with listeners both locally and internationally.

“It’s a great feeling to see the music connecting with people,” Brooky Danger said. “Joy Within My Soul was created to inspire and uplift, and the response has been incredible. The support from radio, DJs and fans in Jamaica and overseas has been very encouraging.”

Buoyed by the positive response, Brooky Danger is now preparing for the annual staging of his Joy Within My Soul concert, which takes place on Sunday, August 9, at Connors Square, St Catherine.

Presented by Brooky Danger Promotions in association with Lava Graund Promotions, the event will feature a stellar lineup headed by reggae singer I Wayne, alongside Loyal Flames, Hugupungeh, Oniel Famous, King Set, Bingy Linkz, Chaka Chaks, Blessed P, Samujah, Jaabari, Numatic, King Toth, Rangoton and Mountain Lion. Performances are also expected from David Banton, Sagga Milaco, Big Flex, Danger Cat, Renzo and Brooky Danger.

According to the artiste, the event represents an extension of the positive message behind his music.

“The concert is about unity, positivity and giving people something they can truly enjoy. At the same time, it’s an opportunity to showcase talented artistes who are working hard to build their careers. I want patrons to leave feeling uplifted, just like the message in Joy Within My Soul,” he said.

With his music continuing to expand its reach across local and international markets, Brooky Danger is optimistic that both Joy Within My Soul and Feel So Right will continue to open new doors as he builds his career and strengthens his reputation as one of reggae’s emerging positive voices.
