Kasheem Green is anxious to get to Poland where he will represent Jamaica at the Mr Supranational competition.

The 29-year-old Papine resident departed the island on Monday from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.

“It’s my first time travelling and I can’t wait to get there. I can’t wait to see the beautiful country of Poland, and I can’t want to meet my brothers from the 43 other countries who will be competing for the Mr Supranational title,” Green told the Jamaica Observer shortly before he boarded the first leg og his trip which takes him though Panama.

“This competition is something that I will always have to tell my kids about, to tell my grand kids about. This journey has been such an inspiring journey. And I just want to say thanks to all the sponsors who made this possible; everybody who has contributed to this journey thus far, and I’m going to make everybody proud,” Green shared.

Last June, Green was crowned Mr Supranational Jamaica 2026 from a field of six inside the Talk of the Town at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

Green shared: “When I entered this competition, I entered blindly. I really didn’t know what I was doing. But along the journey I found myself and I fell in love with the higher version of myself. I realised what I could’ve been and what I can be, and I just embraced that version of myself. And that was what led me to become Mr Supranational Jamaica 2026.”

The highly anticipated grand finale of the 2026 Mister Supranational competition is scheduled to take place on August 1 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz.
