22-y-o charged with murder
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 22-year-old has been charged with murder and several gun-related offences following the shooting death of a 27-year-old woman at the intersection of Sixth Street and East Road, Kingston on July 26.
The deceased has been identified as Titianna Watkin, also of a Kingston 12 address.
Charged is Everald Hall, otherwise called ‘Papito’, of Seventh Street, Kingston 12,
Reports from the Trench Town police are that about 8:45 pm, Watkin was seated in the area when Hall allegedly approached her, pulled a firearm from his waistband, and opened fire, hitting her several times before fleeing the area on foot.
The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, Watkin was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Later that night, Hall turned himself in to the police and was charged with murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and making use of a firearm to commit a felony after a question-and-answer session.
His court date is being decided.
