KINGSTON, Jamaica — Amber Group has announced the appointment of Shantole Thompson as chief communications and media officer, effective August 3, 2026.

In a release on Tuesday, the group shared that Thompson will lead its communications strategy, public relations and media engagement across Jamaica and its international markets, with a focus on raising the visibility of Amber’s innovation, people, partnerships, global operations, and philanthropic work.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dushyant Savadia said: “Amber continues to grow and expand its footprint internationally, and it is equally important that we strengthen how we tell our story. Shantole brings the strategic communications experience, leadership and vision to amplify the work we are doing in Jamaica and across our global markets.”

Thompson brings extensive experience in public relations, media engagement and corporate storytelling across the public and private sectors.
