Meanwhile, prices at Coronation Market continue to fluctuate, with sweet peppers selling for $400 per pound; ginger at $450 per pound; onions at $200 per pound; tomatoes at $200 per pound; Scotch bonnet peppers at $400 per pound; lettuce at $600 per pound; carrots at $300 per pound; and yam at $500 per pound.

Ripe bananas remain one of the more expensive commodities at the market, selling for $1,000 per hand, while plantains are priced at $900 for three.
