The 2026 two-year-old season kick-starts this Saturday, August 8, when six two-year-olds line up for the Cradle Stakes over three furlongs at Caymanas Park.
The Cradle Strakes is for native-bred two-year-olds over three furlongs (600m).

1. GLAMA GIRL: (2 b f by Bern Identity – Indian Bluff) – Well-bred filly who is expected to make a bold bid first time out. She has been training really well coming into this race.

2. YEET: (2 b f by Kettle Corn – Runallday) – First progeny of Kettle Corn to race in Jamaica. The sire stands at Orange Valley Estates. Based on breeding, Yeet is expected to run a very good race.

3. BOSS OVER BOSS: (2 ch c by Bern Identity – Woman Is Boss) – Nicely-bred colt who looks well forward and should do well here.

4. SOORYAVANSHI: (2 ch f by Successful Native – Coco Chanel) – Will likely benefit from the experience. One to watch for improvement next time.

5. POP ROCKET: (2 gr f by Successful Native – Salvation) – Has been working really well coming into this race. Pop Rocket looks poised to make a winning start to her career.

6. MANDY: (2 ch f by Whiskey Double – Lady Blue) – The first offspring of Whiskey Double to race in Jamaica. The sire stands at YS (1955) Limited. Not expected to win, but a valuable starting point.
