OnlyFans model who killed boyfriend gets six years after plea deal
A former OnlyFans model was sentenced to six years in prison Monday after accepting a plea deal in connection with the April 2022 stabbing death of her boyfriend, according to US media reports.
The New York Daily News reported that 30-year-old Courtney Clenney was to be tried for second degree murder with a deadly weapon for killing boyfriend Christian Obumseli inside their Miami condo during a fight. A conviction on that charge could have resulted in a life sentence.
However, she agreed to a plea deal that saw her pleading guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter including time served.
Clenney has already been imprisoned for four years, which means that she could be out of prison in two years.
Clenney stabbed Obumseli to death inside their Miami residence, alleging self-defense over him being abusive to her.
However, prosecutors argued that it was in fact Clenney who was the abusive partner in the relationship, with videos that showed Clenney hitting Obumseli on at least two occasions being presented inside the Miami courtroom.
