Two killed in Grenada boating accident
ST GEORGE’S, Grenada (CMC) — Grenada police are investigating a boating accident that resulted in the deaths of two people last weekend.
In a brief statement, the Royal Grenada Police Force said that the incident occurred at Grand Anse Beach on the island’s southwest coast on Saturday.
The police statement did not provide any further information nor did it identify those killed.
However, according to alleged eyewitnesses, two women had jumped together from a boat and came into contact with the vessel’s propeller. One of the women reportedly died at the scene while the other succumbed at hospital.
Purported videos and images of the aftermath of the incident circulating on social media show swimmers assisting a badly injured beachgoer with lacerations all along her body
