KINGSTON, Jamaica—From helping children cross busy roads safely before the school day begins to surprising motorists by paying their tolls, Scotiabank is creating unexpected moments of care across Jamaica through its Your Future Is Safe With Us campaign.

The campaign has seen Scotiabank team members stationed at school crossings in Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine, St Ann and Manchester, helping students begin their day safely while encouraging motorists to exercise greater caution in school zones.

In another activation, motorists travelling along the North Coast Highway were pleasantly surprised when the Bank covered their toll charges, transforming an ordinary commute into an unexpected act of appreciation.

Together, the activations reflect Scotiabank’s belief that its commitment to Jamaica extends beyond banking and into the everyday moments that matter most.

“At Scotiabank, we believe that showing up for Jamaicans means more than helping them achieve their financial goals. It means being present in the moments that matter,” said Tonya Russell, head of marketing, Scotia Group Jamaica.

“Through this campaign, we wanted to demonstrate our commitment in tangible ways; whether that’s helping children get to school safely or making someone’s journey a little easier. These may seem like simple gestures, but together they reflect who we are and the role we strive to play in the lives of the people we serve.”

Russell noted that while the activations may have been unexpected, the motivation behind them was not.

“For generations, Jamaicans have placed their trust in us, and we never take that trust for granted. Every activation under Your Future Is Safe With Us is an opportunity to say thank you and to remind people that our commitment extends beyond banking. We are proud to continue showing up for Jamaica in meaningful ways, today and for generations to come,” Russell said.
