The Style Issue, August 13, 2026

This year the summer ’do, Milk & Honey — held at Plantation Cove, St Ann, on Saturday, August 8 during Best Weekend Ever — got a royal upgrade, with a dress code serving Regency-era opulence-meets-modern-day couture. And whew, when the gates opened for the ‘Pink Palace’ edition, the fashion faithful came dressed to reign.

Corsets? Present. Dramatic silhouettes? Naturally. Romance, ruffles and statement accessories? Plenty. Pink? Please! Enough to make a whole royal garden blush.

Plus, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s recent red carpet moment included a winning silhouette from fashion brand Greta Constantine and a subtle nod to Princess Diana.

In Honour Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry stepped out in Victoria, British Columbia, on Friday, August 7, for the David Foster Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Celebration. For the occasion, Meghan slipped into Greta Constantine’s Fabrizio gown, keeping the styling deliberately pared back. A simple gold bracelet and her delicate butterfly-shaped diamond-and-sapphire earrings provided the finishing touches — the latter a particularly sentimental choice, having once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
