KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Mayberry Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JABBFA) national senior championship returns to the stage this Saturday, August 15, at the Wolmer’s Boys’ Auditorium at National Heroes Circle, Kingston 4, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Under the theme “Investing in Excellence, Building Champions,” the evening will see Jamaica’s top bodybuilding and fitness competitors go head-to-head for national titles, following months of rigorous training and preparation.

This weekend’s finals follow the July 30 launch of the championship at the Liguanea Club in New Kingston, where Mayberry Investments Limited (MIL) officially reaffirmed its commitment to local sporting excellence, pledging $1 million in sponsorship.

The high-profile launch gathered key stakeholders across Jamaica’s sports and wellness community. In attendance were representatives from MIL, the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), JABBFA, and the Sports Development Foundation (SDF).

A standout feature of the launch was a live category demonstration by select athletes preparing for this weekend’s championship. The exhibition showcased the competitors; fitness, form, and stage poise, offering patrons and members of the media a firsthand preview of the elite physiques and athletic discipline on display this Saturday.

MIL has served as the title sponsor of the event since 2022, consistently using its corporate platform to invest in local sport, healthy lifestyles, and national athlete development.
