KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reggae artiste Frassdon is gaining traction with his single “We Are” following a promotional run across Jamaica and the United States (US) that has generated positive feedback and new performance opportunities.

“It’s been an incredible journey promoting ‘We Are’ across both Jamaica and the US. The response from fans, DJs and the industry has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Frassdon.

During his time in Jamaica, the artiste performed at several Kingston events, including Future Fridayz, Rubadub Garden and Dancehall Thursdays, giving him an opportunity to connect directly with local reggae and dancehall audiences.

His campaign continued in the United States, where he shared the stage with reggae veterans Mykal Rose and Richie Stephens in Brooklyn and appeared alongside I-Faithful at Buss Song Sundays in the Bronx.

Frassdon has also used digital platforms to broaden the reach of “We Are”, making appearances on Talia Powers’ TikTok Live and Benz Family’s Buss It Sundays.

“Connecting with everyone in person and through online platforms has really helped me reach a much wider audience and build genuine connections,” he said.

The increased exposure is beginning to translate into opportunities for the artiste. Frassdon says he has been receiving calls for pop-up shows and securing new performance bookings in New York.

With “We Are” continuing to build his profile, Frassdon is now turning his attention to his upcoming album, which is scheduled for release at the end of August. The project is being produced by Bylavibe Production and Studio Yard Music.

The artiste also has additional US performances and music videos in the pipeline as he looks to maintain the progress generated by his recent promotional activities. Frassdon is represented in Jamaica by music publicist Ralston Barrett and The Reggae PR Agency.

“I’m excited about what’s ahead. Between the new music, upcoming US show dates and future video releases, there are a lot of positive moves on the horizon,” Frassdon said.

For the artiste, the reception to “We Are” has provided added motivation as he prepares for the next phase of his career.
