One dead, another injured in Trelawny crash

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — One individual is dead and another injured following a motor vehicle crash involving  a truck and a Suzuki Grand Vitara on the Braco main road in Trelawny on Monday evening.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been determined.

The injured man was reportedly rushed to hospital for treatment.

The crash caused a major traffic gridlock in both directions along the roadway.

Emergency teams, including members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Fire  were at the scene responding to the crash.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are still being investigated.
