Police investigate fatal collision in Annotto Bay
ST MARY, Jamaica — Police in St Mary are investigating a fatal collision in Annotto Bay on Friday that claimed the life of a 54-year-old man.
The deceased has been identified as Howard Hamilton of Red Hills Road, Port Antonio.
According to police, Hamilton sustained injuries in the crash and was later taken to Annotto Bay Hospital, where he succumbed while receiving treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear. However, investigators have identified a coaster bus and its driver as being involved in the crash.
The driver has been asked to report to the police as investigations continue.
Police are conducting further enquiries to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
