Police release identities of two killed in Trelawny crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica—The police have released the identities of the two people who were pronounced dead following a crash involving a motor car and a truck on the Braco main road in Trelawny on Monday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Alicia Dormer of Westgate Hills and 26-year-old Oneal Henry of Catherine Hall, both in Montego Bay, St James.
According to the Constabulary Communication Unit, about 4:50 pm, Henry was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara with Dormer as a passenger when, on reaching a section of the roadway, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Freightliner motor truck travelling in the opposite direction.
Both Dormer and Henry sustained injuries and were transported to the Falmouth Public General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Investigations are being carried out by members of the Trelawny Police Division’s traffic department.
