Midas Entertainment closes Summer 2026 with back-to-back Plantation Cove experiences on August 29 and 30. Both are officially endorsed as lead-up experiences to Dream Wknd 2027.

The weekend opens with Sophisticated: The Summer End Beach Party on Saturday, followed by ENCORE LIVE: Culture Rising on Sunday, offering two distinct entertainment experiences.

The endorsement connects both events to Dream Wknd’s wider promotional cycle and strengthens Midas Entertainment’s position on Jamaica’s entertainment calendar.

On Saturday, August 29, Sophisticated will transform Plantation Cove into a beachside lifestyle experience blending dancehall, fashion and social culture. Vanessa Bling leads the entertainment line-up, with music by Trippple X, Bishop Escobar, and Illusion Sound. The event runs from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a hosted drinks segment from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

On Sunday, August 30, ENCORE LIVE: Culture Rising shifts the focus to live music and sound system culture, headlined by reggae and dancehall veteran Capleton. He will be joined by Nesbeth and saxophonist Dean Fraser, with musical support from DJ Delano of Renaissance and Bass Odyssey.
