Honorebel reflects with Winner Circle
Recording artiste Honorebel is returning to his reggae foundation with the release of his 14th studio album, Winner Circle, today August 21.
The 13-track project, released by Phantom Music Group and distributed globally by Zojak Worldwide, marks another chapter in a career that has spanned more than two decades and several genres.
Known for experimenting with dancehall, hip hop, pop, EDM and Latin music, Honorebel said Winner Circle represents a deliberate return to the sound that first shaped his musical journey.
“Reggae is where my journey began, and it has always been a part of who I am,” Honorebel said. “With Winner Circle, I… [the] music that reflects where I am today — the experiences, the lessons, the blessings and everything it took to get here.”
The album explores themes of love, faith, family, resilience, social awareness, and triumph, while reflecting on the experiences that have shaped Honorebel personally and professionally.
For the entertainer, the album title is not simply a reference to success, but to the persistence required to achieve it.
The project also sees Honorebel joining forces with several established reggae acts, including Big Mountain, Glenn Washington, Etana and Nyanda.
Among the tracks are Forever Yours, Miss You, Mama, Rise Up, Real Estate Ova License Plate, Winner, and Reggae Is Our Music, with the songs moving between personal reflections and messages of perseverance, empowerment and cultural pride.
An extensive group of producers contributed to the album, including Jason Arthur Farmer, Willie Lindo, Mark Hosang, Tad Dawkins, Tad Dawkins Jr, Paul Kastick, Kashief Lindo, Dwayne Dayal, Kemar McGregor, Everton Dennis, and Richard Mark Bailey.
Winner Circle follows a career in which Honorebel has consistently moved beyond the traditional boundaries of reggae. His catalogue includes collaborations with international and Jamaican acts such as Pitbull, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder, and Tarrus Riley.
That genre-crossing approach has helped introduce his music to audiences across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. With Winner Circle, however, the artiste is placing reggae firmly at the centre.
Winner Circle will be available through Phantom Music Group, with global distribution by Zojak Worldwide.
