Man killed in three-vehicle crash in Trelawny
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — One man has died from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash involving a truck, a minibus and a motorcar on the section of the North Coast Highway near Bogue Gate in Trelawny, on Wednesday morning.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released by the police. He was reportedly an occupant of the motorcar.
The crash occurred about 10:45 am, close to the location where seven people died on July 17 following a two-vehicle collision.
The latest death has pushed the number of road fatalities in Trelawny since the start of the year to 24, seven more than the 17 recorded over the corresponding period last year.
