Engineer dies after being crushed by truck while working on MoBay bypass
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A workman died on Thursday after he was run over by a truck while carrying out duties along a section of the Montego Bay bypass in St James.
The deceased has been identified as Clifton James, an engineer of Paradise Heights in Montego Bay.
Reports are that James was working along the bypass when he was struck by the truck. The circumstances that led to the incident remain unclear.
James succumbed to his injuries.
His body was subsequently removed from the scene as police launched an investigation into the incident.
