JAMAICANS Ackera Nugent and Lavanya Williams were winners at the Serbia Athletics Meeting 2026, a World Athletics Continental Tour bronze-level meeting in Belgrade, Serbia, on Wednesday.

Kadrian Goldson also earned a podium finish after placing second in the men’s 100m.

Nugent clocked a season’s best 12.56 seconds (1.5m/s) to win the 100m hurdles, her second win in Europe this year and first since mid-August in Finland.

American Rayniah Jones was second in 12.71 seconds, with Italy’s Giada Carmassi third in 12.93.

Williams rebounded from her poor outing in Bellinzona, Switzerland, on Sunday, winning the women’s 100m in 11.00 seconds (1.1m/s) for a Jamaican 1-2 finish with Sabrina Dockery, who was second in 11.11.

Dockery was coming off a win at ISTAF Berlin on Sunday, where she ran 11.13 seconds, while Williams clocked 11.53.

Liranyi Alonso of the Dominican Republic was third in 11.12 seconds, while Neisha Burgher was sixth overall in 11.41.

Goldson, who ran 9.98 seconds to win the men’s 100m in Berlin on Sunday, was second in 10.04 seconds (0.6m/s), behind South Africa’s Baynada Walaza, with Canada’s Jerome Blake third in 10.06.

Sachin Dennis finished third in the first heat in 10.29 seconds (0.5m/s), while Zandrion Barnes was fifth in the men’s 400m in 45.37 seconds.
