JN Money Services has launched a new mobile app that allows customers in some of its main diaspora markets to send money directly from their phones, as the remittance company expands the ways customers can transact without visiting a branch or agent.

The JN Money app, launched on September 21, is available to customers in the United Kingdom, Canada, and 12 states in the United States. Users can create an account, complete identity verification, add recipient details and send transfers through the platform.

JN Money Services General Manager Horace Hines said the app reflects the way customer behaviour is changing, with more people expecting to access financial services at any time and from anywhere.

“It moves us beyond traditional transaction channels into a more scalable, always-on ecosystem that meets our customers where they are,” Hines said. “This is a game-changing platform that will enable us to serve customers more conveniently, efficiently, and confidently.”

He said customers will be able to complete transactions with fewer steps and without having to visit a branch or agent, while those who still prefer face-to-face service can continue using the company’s physical network.

“The JN Money app is a great option for customers who value convenience or may not live near one of our locations. It complements the personalised service provided by our branches and agents across the diaspora,” Hines said.

The launch follows JN Money’s expansion into nine new countries during the past financial year, along with additional US states and locations in the Cayman Islands.

Hines said technology is becoming central to the remittance business as customers increasingly expect transactions to be quick, transparent, and available around the clock.

“People want to send money anytime, anywhere, and they expect it to be quick, transparent, and reliable,” he said.
