Popular DJ and radio personality Fyahman is taking his annual birthday celebration to another level this year, expanding the festivities into a four-event weekend across four locations as he marks his 25th birthday.

Following the overwhelming support received at last year’s celebration, Fyahman and his Vibes Ministry team have responded to calls from supporters for an even bigger experience, putting together a packed weekend of events from September 24 to 27.

“Last year, the supporters really went all out for the celebration, so much so that several persons were saying that a brand of our magnitude, The Vibes Ministry, could never keep just a one-night event for my birthday,” Fyahman said. “So we went back to the drawing board, we evaluated our options, and determined that it was only right to extend the celebration. And it really is a testament to the love and support of the movement. Without the supporters, I wouldn’t be here now, and I am forever grateful.”

The celebrations got underway on September 24 with Fuego, offering patrons an opportunity to celebrate with Fyahman in an intimate birthday-party atmosphere.

On September 25, his actual birthday, the festivities move to Devon House for Open House, before shifting into high gear on September 26 with Soak’D: The Ultimate Water Fete, to be held at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.

Dancehall artiste Malie Donn will headline Soak’D, bringing his high-energy catalogue to what is expected to be one of the major highlights of the weekend.

“We are super proud to have dancehall super force Malie Donn as our headliner. He has been doing some amazing things across the world for dancehall music, and we can’t wait for fans to see him at Soak’D,” Fyahman said.

The four-day celebration closes on September 27 with Soul’d Out, which will offer a change of pace as patrons unwind to a selection of slow jams and favourites from the 2000s era.

Altogether, the four events are designed to offer different experiences while maintaining the energy and community that have become synonymous with Fyahman and The Vibes Ministry.

This year’s celebration also carries special personal significance for Fyahman. In addition to turning 25, the entertainer and media personality recently achieved a lifelong goal of earning his law degree.

“Not only did I succeed a lifelong dream this year by getting my law degree, but I’m also turning 25 years old. As someone who was born and raised in a garrison community, those are two things you seldom see among young men, and I’m happy to carry the banner,” he said.

For Fyahman, the milestone represents not only an opportunity to celebrate his achievements but also to acknowledge the supporters who have contributed to the growth of his career and The Vibes Ministry.

“I’ve been doing my thing for a little while now, and I am always blown away by the support and love I get from across the world, [which] has encouraged me to go even harder. So, from here on out, look out for much more from Fyahman and the Vibes Ministry,” he said.
