PriceSmart Montego Bay to open Thursday

ST JAMES, Jamaica — PriceSmart Jamaica is set to officially open its new Montego Bay location on Thursday, October 2.

“The doors are about to open, and we’re excited to welcome the community to the newest PriceSmart Club,” the company announced on social media.

News of the opening has been warmly received by residents, with several expressing excitement about having a PriceSmart location in western Jamaica.

“I’m so ready, let’s gooooooo,” one person commented, while another wrote, “I can’t wait. This means no more Kingston trip for me.”

The opening comes as Montego Bay and other sections of western Jamaica continue recovery efforts following severe damage caused by Hurricane Melissa.

The new PriceSmart Club will be located at Lot C1, Ironshore Crescent in Montego Bay.
