Jamaica welcomes Red Bull Wings Cup

Registration is now open in Jamaica for the Red Bull Wings Cup, a new EA SPORTS FC 27 competition that will give university students a chance to compete for the opportunity to represent Jamaica at an international final in Miami in 2027.

The competition will take place in nearly 80 countries in partnership with EA SPORTS and PlayStation. Players of all skill levels can compete for a place in their country’s national final.

In Jamaica, the competition will be held through the University League. Students from universities across the country will play EA SPORTS FC 27 Rush on PlayStation 5 consoles during qualifying events on their campuses.

The first qualifying event will take place at The University of the West Indies (The UWI) from October 1 to 2, 2026. A second event will be held at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) from October 7 to 8.

Players will collect points during the competition, with those who have the highest scores advancing to the Jamaica National Final. There, they will compete for the title of Red Bull Wings Cup National Champion.

The Jamaican champion will have the opportunity to represent the country at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami, United States, in early 2027. The event will bring together players from participating countries for a competition centred on EA SPORTS FC 27 and football culture.

The competition is open to students who meet the eligibility requirements in Jamaica. Local terms and conditions apply.
