Asmall field of five runners will battle for supremacy in the 7th running of the $1.09million Princess Popstar Trophy, a Restricted Allowance I contest for native- bred and imported two-year-olds (non-winners of three) over 5½ furlongs (1,100m) at Caymanas Park tomorrow.

Below is the analysis of the runners: 1. BOSS OVER BOSS: (2 ch c by Bern Identity – Woman Is Boss) – Electric on debut, bolted up by 2¼ lengths over 3 furlongs (600m) in 36.1 on August 8. Boss Over Boss has ticked over nicely since that win and is expected to make a brave bid for top honours.

2. LEELA’S CHOICE: (2 b f by Sir Alton – Antoinette) – No form to recommend her. Cannot win.

3. SOORYAVANSHI: ( 3 ch f by Successful Native – Coco Chanel) – Needed the experience, then delivered at second asking over 4 furlongs on September 12. Extended trip here, but good enough to be competitive.

4. MANDY: (2 ch f by Whisky Double – Lady Blue)

– Most exposed in the line-up with four starts without a win. Looks held and will be left behind.

5. BIRTHDAY KING (USA): (2 ch c by Kantharos – Always Kitten) – Made it look easy on local debut, winning by 2½ lengths in 36.3 for 3 furlongs on August 29. Birthday King has been working well since. He is the one to beat to make it two-in-a-row.
