WATCH: Tile City launches $290m showroom on Constant Spring Road

Tile City and Home Centre launched its state-of-the-art Signature Showroom on Constant Spring Road in St Andrew on Thursday, bringing an immersive experience that the company says opens the door to a fresh approach to building, renovating and designing spaces.

The company invested approximately $290 million in the 10,000 square foot showroom, including $40 million in a 240 kilowatt solar energy system.

Among the guests at the launch were Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce Senator Aubyn Hill, as well as Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Delano Seiveright.

Seiveright praised Tile City’s growth and the impact the initiative will have on the Jamaican economy.

“I am very proud of Tile City and Home Centre, they have been around for 27 years, they started off with two containers and here there are now with this massive showroom,” Seiveright said. “We are excited about it, they have created jobs, they have created opportunities and their reach spreads throughout the entire Jamaican economy.”

According to the company, the grand opening celebrates more than a new space, noting that it represents a renewed commitment to inspiring creativity, making quality design more accessible and helping Jamaicans bring their visions for their homes and projects to life.
