Greatness Pink & White Brunch delivers!

IT was a sea of pink and white on the East Lawn of Devon House in St Andrew on Heroes’ Day as patrons turned out in their finest outfits for the Greatness Pink & White Brunch.

From chic dresses and stylish suits to carefully coordinated accessories, patrons embraced the event’s signature colours, complementing the elaborate décor that transformed the historic venue into an elegant party setting.

Even the iconic Devon House mansion became part of the spectacle, illuminated by a striking pink hue that added to the ambience.

For Greatness Group CEO and conceptualiser of the Greatness Pink & White Brunch Larone Brown, the staging represented another significant milestone for the event, which continues to distinguish itself on Jamaica’s entertainment calendar.

“The growth has been gigantic, and that is exactly what we expect from the Greatness Pink & White Brunch. We want each staging to be bigger, better, and more unique than the last, while maintaining the standard of excellence that patrons have come to associate with the brand,” Brown told the Jamaica Observer.

He explained that the continued development of the event has been driven by a willingness to explore new marketing approaches, place greater emphasis on the patron experience, and maintain confidence in the team responsible for bringing the concept to life.

“We approached things differently in terms of marketing and placed even greater trust in the experience we were creating for our consumers. I also had to trust my team, believe in the vision, and, of course, put my faith in God. All of those things contributed to what we were able to accomplish this year,” he shared.

Music was another major highlight of the celebration, with DJs Kurt Riley, Rich Rocc, Marc Chin, and Delano from Renaissance providing an engaging soundtrack throughout the event.

The selectors delivered a predominantly Jamaican musical experience, treating patrons to an assortment of reggae and dancehall hits while incorporating soca, R&B, and soul classics. The diverse selections kept the atmosphere lively, with patrons singing along, dancing, and enjoying the festivities against the picturesque backdrop of Devon House landscape.

The culinary experience was equally impressive, with celebrity chef Haleem Card among those responsible for catering with a live cooking station. Patrons were also treated to offerings from Orchid Thai, Cannonball, Waffle Lady, and others.

The food offerings complemented the upscale atmosphere, reinforcing the event’s reputation as an experience that extends beyond music and dancing. Adding another layer of excitement was a special giveaway courtesy of Sanmerna Paper Products Limited, which offered patrons the opportunity to win a round-trip getaway for two to Miami, Florida.

While the event was undoubtedly a celebration of fashion and entertainment, Brown explained that the pink-and-white theme also carries a deeper meaning. “The colours represent humility and humanity, and with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the pink also carries a special significance.

We want people to enjoy themselves, but we also recognise the importance of the message behind the colours,” he explained. Reflecting on the staging, Brown spoke to the standout areas of the experience.

“For me, the major highlights were definitely the food, the décor and the location. Those elements came together beautifully and helped us create the kind of atmosphere we envisioned for the event,” he said.

The brunch marked the culmination of Greatness Weekend 2026, which also featured PCF: South Beach, RECALL: Straight Jeans & Fitted, and CUPS: Château Blanc.

For Brown, the successful staging further reinforces the Greatness Group’s commitment to delivering distinctive entertainment experiences while continuing to elevate the standard of premium events in Jamaica.
