Nigy Boy to drop Where Is The Love?

Nigy Boy to drop Where Is The Love?

Jamaican singer Nigy Boy is using his musical platform to address violence and the need for greater compassion with his latest single Where Is The Love?

Produced by Stargate Productions, the track, which is the first release from the upcoming Vortex rhythm compilation, sees the entertainer stepping beyond his familiar themes of romance and relationships to confront some of the social challenges affecting communities locally and internationally.

Produced by David Attal, the song encourages listeners to reflect on the importance of unity, understanding, and humanity amid growing concerns about violence and conflict.

“Music has always been a powerful way to bring people together, and with Where Is The Love? I wanted to deliver a message that goes beyond entertainment. We’re living in a time where there is so much violence, division, and pain, and sometimes we forget the importance of showing love and compassion to one another,” Nigy Boy said.

The release represents another dimension of the singer’s artistry as he continues to broaden his musical catalogue and strengthen his presence within the international reggae and dancehall landscape.

Nigy Boy first gained widespread recognition with his breakout hit Continent, which introduced his distinctive vocals and melodic delivery to a larger global audience.

Since then he has continued building his catalogue with songs including Waterfalls, featuring Mr Vegas, You and I, Lover Not a Fighter, Superwoman, and
Judgement.

While his music has frequently explored love and personal relationships, Where Is The Love? highlights his willingness to address issues that extend beyond individual experiences.

The single also aligns with the entertainer’s previously stated ambitions for 2026.

Earlier this year, Nigy Boy told the Jamaica Observer that he intended to make expansion a central focus of his career, particularly through diversifying his musical portfolio and establishing a stronger international presence. His latest offering reflects that direction, demonstrating his interest in exploring different subject matters while maintaining the vocal style that has become synonymous with his music.

Meanwhile, Where Is The Love? serves as the introduction to the Vortex rhythm, a four-track project bringing together a selection of reggae and dancehall artistes over a shared production. In addition to Nigy Boy, the compilation features Vanzo with Spotlight, Darrio with Surviva, and Denham Smith with Certain.

The full Vortex rhythm compilation is scheduled for release on Friday, November 13, 2026 across major digital streaming platforms. It will be distributed by VPAL Music, the distribution arm of VP Records.
